Fuhaha Holiday Cup August 10, 2011

Fuhaha has launches an inaugural Holiday Cup to be played at Fuhaha Youth Grounds and Bahati Primary School in Tezo starting August 2011. Ten Teams have registered for the Under 17 boys look to competing in the next two weeks. The teams are drawn from Tezo Location which is in Kilifi County, Coast Province of Kenya.
During this tournament, the Under 17 Girl Team and Under 14 boys will also play in mini tournaments.

The idea behind these games is to have over 300 children participate in fun activities under supervision of coaches and teachers who will remind them of importance of disciplined approach to Education.
Fuhaha is proud to always support children in village that would have otherwise stayed idle and looking forward bring the results of games online during August holidays. The winner of the tournament gets a trophy donated by the Founder of Fuhaha Youth Soccer NFP.

IRS Grants Fuhaha Tax Exemption

The IRS granted Fuhaha donations tax exemption on Febraury 2009. All donations to Fuhaha now can be deducted from personal income.

Fuhaha USA registration complete.

 Fuhaha is now registered with Illinois State. 
Many thanks to the Loyola School of Law for assisting us get registered. 

David Stokes and Hillary Phelps of Loyola for their tireless efforts, these are much appreciated.

As result, a bank account has been opened with Citibank and is available on request.


The Loyola School of Law is also helping us apply for the Tax exemption 501 3 (c) registeration.

Kenga’s late strike earns Battery a tie versus Red Bulls
Charleston, SC. Substitute forward David Kenga scored an excellent individual goal late in the second half to earn the Charleston Battery a tie versus Major League Soccer’s New York Red Bulls Sunday afternoon at Blackbaud Stadium. New York had taken the lead less than a minute earlier through Kevin Meza, but Kenga’s strike earned Charleston a deserved point.  To read more click here

Fuhaha gets a new Manager -Pita Masha Kumbatha.
 May 18, 2008.

      We are excited to announce that Pita Masha has agreed to join Fuhaha as the Team Manager. Pita brings a wealth of management experience having worked in millitary in the Kenyan Navy in various positions. A graduate of Mombasa polytechnic, Pita brings to Fuhaha the passion for game and excellent record in player development. 

Pita will work with Coach Mabibo as part of technical bench and will also oversee the Team administration, talent scouting and communications. Pita's first day will be July 1, 2008.
